Who writes here

Rachid Mermans has followed the Belgian gambling market since 2021 and tests every operator personally with a preference for licences. Base: Brussel.

We are paid through affiliate links; the text above does not depend on it. The black list is named even when it costs us.

How we test. every test starts with a real account, start with a deposit of our own money, pull the money out and time the whole route. The licence check happens at the source, not at the operator and go over the small print word by word.

Weekly limit, age bar and exclusion

The Belgian legislator approaches player protection above the European average in strictness with concrete consequences for your account. The standard limit runs to €200 per week per site.

Exclusion runs centrally through the EPIS register: a single request is enough to stay out everywhere at once. Reversing it is not immediate. Casino, gaming hall and sports betting are 21-and-over since 1 September 2024; only the National Lottery stays at 18. The check is automatic.
